The town of Saint-Jean-de-Losne is where the Saône, the Canal de Bourgogne and the Canal Rhin-Rhône all meet. It was a hub for navigation until the beginning of the 20th century. On your tour of Saint-Jean-de-Losne, you can admire the 18th century Hôtel de Ville with collection of papers from before the revolution in the Salon d’Honneur, souvenirs from the siege of 1636 and the Eglise Saint Jean-Baptiste with 18th century furniture and organ.
Learn about the history and heritage of this town, with a passionate guide, for either a traditional tour, or a tour followed by a tasting of regional products (confectionary and biscuits with a “kir” cocktail or blackcurrant nectar juice).
You could combine your tour with a tour of the Musée de la Batellerie and a boat cruise aboard the Vagabondo.
€3 per person for the tour only
€4 per person for the tasting of our local specialities with a “kir” cocktail or blackcurrant nectar juice (30 minutes).
Payment in cash, by cheque or credit card
Tours of the town can be organised all year round for groups of at least 10 people and with a booking.
